Does anyone have the race programmes for the following events, please? The over-arching meeting title is given first, whilst the events in brackets are the ones I am interested in. More specifically, I am trying to identify the race numbers that Lella Lombardi carried in the respective Escort Mexico contests.

 

31 March 1974 – Brands Hatch, Clubman’s Car Races (ShellSport Escort Ladies’ Championship Race) 

21 April 1974 - Brands Hatch, Clubman’s Car Races (ShellSport Mexico 1973 Winners’ Race) 

26 May 1974 – Brands Hatch, Ford Sport Day (ShellSport Escort Ladies’ Championship Race) 

14 July 1974 – Mallory Park, Rothmans F5000 European Championship (ShellSport Mexico Celebrity Race)

 

Any help appreciated (and gets a credit in her biog )

The 14 July 1974 Mallory Park programme does not list any entries, only blanks to fill in from winners on the day

I don't suppose you hae the programme and rsult for any of the other races? I know my late Dad finished 4th in the Escort race, but also 2nd in another race that meeting, but not sure what it was!!

The Kentish Express, 26 April reported that Whiting passed Marshall on the third lap and went on to win by four seconds.

So who was No.37?  Placed third it would seem.

This is from 31 March 1974 Brands progamme. No Lombardi listed but of course may have been a late entry on the day.  Unfortunately no results.

Autosport's report says that the finishing order was Lombardi / Anderson / Boughton / Shaw / Tucker-Peake / Atkins filling out the top 6, with Fiona Richmond (also not on the entry list) 12th. So either Lella was an addition or replaced one of Baker / Davis / Denton / Cunningham / Rindisbacker / Rouse / Sibley / Slaughter / Galica / West / Wilson. I've seen another report that indicates Lella drove #12, in which case the listing in the programme may not necessarily correspond to race numbers. The plot thickens!

Looks like the intention was to number them in alphabetical name order with the exception of Divina taking her #13 (which maybe nobody else would have wanted anyway?), and #16 being a late addition?

Early outing for Divi there. She was in the Whiting run Escort Special Saloon in '75, this is a year and a bit before that.
