I've tried before, but maybe it'll work better this time. How about we start a small league?? Anyone intested? I already have a page for it. It would look something like this:

There is no way that I'll be competitice at Red Rock so I'll continue at Rome Night. First up time:
Unisia Jecs Skyline, 702hp
'stock' tune
1:29:583
Thats not a good lap by any means, but at least I'm top of the chart!! For Now.

Posted a 1:07.454 at Red Rock Valley in a Denso Supra GT.
Posted a 1:26.579 at Rome Night in same.
I think I could band off at least two more seconds if I could just get through the last corner cleanly.
Peeko, I tried emailing you my posting for Red Rock but the address is not active

I hope those aren't real times on the sample league sheet. I haven't been able to come close to any of those times except with the Suzuki Escudo.

Great fun was had by all this weekend last. found out that after three Brews no one can get the STP Viper around Red Rocks cleanly. Lots of laughs though:D.

TNSFH: Only three brews??? That had better be strong stuff!! I have a rather humourous story regarding GT1, a bottle of Vodka and a Honda CRX race... Needless to say, halfway round the second lap, my car went straight on and I woke up the next morning!!!!

TNSFH,
I was paying attention to the last corner to see how I negotiate it. What I do is hit the brakes hard and gear down as soon as the car reaches the signs to your left (the one that tell you there is a sharp right turn). when you get to the hairpin, don't worry about keeping to the outside of the curb, just aim for the turn. I'm not sure which car you used, but with a powerful RWD car, if you've enterd the turn a little too quick, you can ususally floor it and the back end will spin around and with the right timing you can be pointing in the right direction. Hope this helps.

1:25.053 with Denzo Sard Supra GT
Tyres: Super Soft
Final Drive: 3.35
Can't remember the other settings, I'll write them down tonight.
Looks like I have a lot of tuning to do to beat a 1:20.

6th gear 1-1
Final drive 3.34
Raised the torque on the limited slip initial to get more jump off the corners.(this helped the most to lower time)
Ride height 68
Spring travel at 13 rear and 12 front
Downforce 65 front, 89 rear

Try the Escudo at Pikes Peak. Almost like the real thing, although I ran it in a 1976 SS Camaro (for real).

Also, win all the races in the GT league on the Simulation disc. I'm pretty sure that then you will be able to compete...;)
BTW Has anyone tried the Motorsport Land track? For bloody go-karts I think. Any lap where you don't go on the grass is a slow one IMO.

1:22.252 Denso Sard Supra GT.
Increased LSD to 30 on initial and reduced Braking LSD to 10. Raised Final drive to 3.30.
I could swear the ghost car rear-ended me and sent me into the wall, either that or I missed a down-shift:).

Try the other unlimited race in the Enduro series, Rome I think.
Now I wish I would have kept notes on what race wins what car.
New time of 1:21.388. still stuck in a sector 4 time of greater than 26.XX:mad:[p][Edited by TNSFH on 06-16-2000]
