Damon & Graham Hill's Helmets... Simple design, yet very cool.
Michael Schumacher's chrome helmet he had at Suzuka (98?). I hate his new one. BUTT ugly.
Stepping Back a bit I liked Francois Cevert's helmet. Clay Regazzoni's helmet was pretty cool.
Generally, I like to see something displaying a driver's nationality or personality on the helmet. Dario Franchitti's helmet is pretty cool. David Coulthard's is fine. Mika's is a little stale right now, when compared to Kimi's.

My fave helmets from the past would be Senna (as stated by several others), Arnoux (white with his signature one each side), and Cheever (a bit american but a cool design non-the-less).

For all the fuss over MS's helmet, I don't think it looks that good. Too much red.
Wurz has a cool one. Liked his two-coloured shoes as well. he's stopped wearing them now.

Worst Helmet. Michael Andretti. Too American for me.

Tarso's helmet design is actually a copy of Emerson Fitiipaldi's, except the colours are different
Michael andretti's is the same as his father Mario's, except for the American flag on the bottom of it
Eddie Irvine used the same design as Ayrton Sennas in lower formulae, because he used to be a fan, but when he got to F1 he had to change it, so he made the helmet orange with green stripes. Senna then promptly punched him in the face
I always liked Johhny Herberts design

The coolest helmet I've ever seen is Shinja Nakano's (MotoGP) with that eyes above the visor.

I did not know that Reynolds had "ordered" Senna to make that change although I always assumed it to be their wish. The ideal would have been to change the Camel yellow to match the extremely pleasing yellow that Senna used.
Did Senna actually change the colour of his helmet in accordance with their wishes? Having just examined all relevant photos published in the 1987 Autocourse and that year's Road & Track magazines my observations were that every shot (I found no exceptions) that had a convincing degree of clarity supported my view that Senna's helmet appears to be the same yellow as in previous and subsequent years.I cannot revise my opinion until you convince me that I should not to believe my eyes.
Senna's helmet in 1987 was the same color as in '85 & '86. He did change it, however, in 1988 at McLaren.

One of my all times favorites. Fogarty's (Superbikes) with those big angry and intimidating eyes was even better IMO.Originally posted by AcidIce

Sorry for not reacting sooner, been away for a few days...
I am pretty sure you are wrong 911. Senna had a "light" yellow helmet wich clashed with the darker yellow of Camel. R.J.R. then "requested" that Senna change his helmet to match the car and as they were paying a lot of money, Senna complied.
The story, such as it was in the era of the Mansell-Piquet feud, was printed in numerous magazines at the time, including AUTOSPORT, that even had before & after pictures.
