these are for Lavells newsagents.


In 1981 I was a buyer for Lavells when they belonged to Guinness. We were based in Leighton Buzzard and I reported once a month to Ernest Saunders before he went loopy, (but you could have fooled me!) :stoned:

In early 1969, Scotties Tissues put a series of 4 postcards in their boxes. I don't know how many I got through that winter, but I never did get number 1, the Matra. :cry:

And not forgetting that Ferrari have issued official postcards for years. In the early years they included sports-racing cars but have for many years issued driver cards and also F1 cards.
