If by chance you mean Montreal then perhaps we should meet in Jax's Bar and we can discuss this over a pint!

My visa was deducted in October, I believe. I'll hold off calling as it doesn't seem to change the fact. They'll come when they are ready. I'll be in panic mode by May --- but I'm sure we'll have them before then. She should have a notice on their website about this. Come to think of it, I'll check it out, maybe they do.

Andy pictures lots of fights in the stands as 2 people realized their tickets have the same seat number on them!!
BTW -"That Place" on Crescent is called Ziggy's!;) However we may have a change of venue this year to a larger place, still on Crescent though. Will keep you informed.

So I should quit reviewing my French then? We American's haven't spoken English in years anyway so that should be easy I don't care much if it comes to that though as long as I'm sitting on the person's lapOriginally posted by Andy
Anyone wanna by some Canadian GP tickets real cheap?? If they say anything at the gate about the picture on the ticket being different just pretend you don't understand French or English!!

Hey that's cool. Nothing against Ziggy's but that place is rather small. That's why we didn't hang around long. The Winston Churchill (I think that was the name of it was a real big place). Just don't pick JV's joint they kicked me out last year... OK they didn't kick me out... they wouldn't let me in based on how I was dressed supposedly. But when we went down there on Monday they weren't as picky and were practically begging us to come in... "No Thanks, not today Jacque"Originally posted by Andy

It seems they had a problem with "the printing" of the tickets and so have been delayed. However it IS GOOD NEWS...
ALL TICKETS ORDERED BEFORE JAN. 01, 2002 WERE MAILED OUT LAST WEEK (week of Jan 27th). If you are in Canada or the US you should receive your tickets within 7-14 days. If you have not received them by the end of next week (Feb 15th), call them directly and they will look after it (514-350-0000).
Hope this helps!
Andy.

We still on for a possible swap one day Wheels? This is gonna Rock!
Now I'm starting to regret not going to Oz; next year. That's a long way and want to make sure it's well planned e.g. not going just to see the race; but that is a large motivator ;)

What was the deal with a bunch of tickets getting stolen and having to change the graphics and reprint them. Mine have a black background and a big picture of Ralf's head with his helmet on. Are these the newer ones?

Wheels, that sounds like a plan. We'll have to meet up at the Atlas headquarters Thursday (definately Friday) to swap.
Dick, I live in Seattle and got my tickets yesterday.

15 is marked as sold out but I lucked out as a group of tickets became available that morning when somebody or something failed to pay the $$$.
Sounds like Wheels will be trading tickets with F1Rulz and I - I'm surprised more don't trade tickets.
Also - McGill summer housing prices have increased for the Grand Prix weekend - $60 per night - hardly a deal for what you get.

"Hardly a deal"???? You obviously have not checked out the Hotel prices for that week!! Plus if you are coming from outside Canada, remember that $60.00 CDN is approx. $38.00 US or £26.00 British Pounds. If you ask me, that is a great deal for a place to drop your bags, rest your head for a few hours each day and get an all-you-can-eat Continental breakfast !;)Originally posted by mueller

Finally, got my tickets. I can breathe again. I was really starting to think they were under some Chicago postmans porch. I didn't want any ticket hassles since it took me years to finally get aisle seats.
