Sorry to ask again but further to my earlier request on a little background information of Desmond Titterington's racing career & personality, I am somewhat surprised to find virtually zilch re. images for either the man or him in any of the cars he raced. Can anybody help, please
Another Desmond Titterington request!

Just wondering if I could resurrect this request
We're preparing a profile of Desmond (a sympathetic, comprehensive and well researched profile, I might add, written by Richie Jenkins himself, no less).
Does anyone have any pics of Desmond at all? (that we may be allowed to use?).

Even in Classic and Sportscar obituary there is only a very small picture - and that is the one from his wedding!?

There was a very good article in one of Graham Gauld's mags in the early 90s or so. I think it was called Historic Race & Rally and only lasted 5 or 6 issues. I remember it as a joint interview with Jimmy Stewart in Desmond's house by the River Tay in Caputh near Perth.
I have it in the loft somewhere and will try and find it for Richie.

Anything would be good, wedding, in the car, out of the car, whatever. Thanks Jamie for trying

These are all from Autosport in 1955. There are numerous pictures of him racing, mainly in D-Types, but also in a Vanwall and a McCandless Special which he drove at the Knockagh hillclimb in Ulster the week before he drove a Mercedes-Benz in the Targa Florio.

1956 Aintree 200 Connaught B??
I'm not sure of the source/copyright on these pictures as they were just sitting on my HD.

Aha, not only enough pictures of Titterington to fill a profile, but to take over the world! On behalf of my erstwhile chum Kuwashima, thank you!

Many, many thanks Roger and Rob!
I knew TNF would come through in the end...
Roger, if and when you get the chance, we would love to see the other pics from the 1955 Autosport - the D-Types, Vanwall and McCandless Special etc... but only if and when you get the chance!
