I'm onto my second Merc and wont be too far away from a third. I reckon each 10hp loss is worth
about 2/10ths maybe even 3/10ths.

OK if we use the premise that a no-show (someone who hasn't given a time yet) gets the teams current worst time + 5 seconds, here are the teams standings at the moment.

1. 2FC Racing (Stickshift, TT6, Kanisteri) - 1.09.576
2. Team 6 (JDeRosa, JerryLee, HardRock) - 1.09.729
3. Team 2 (LCA, BO'Flaherty, Pets22) - 1.09.786
4. Team 1 (JForce, SilentBob, BigBrickz) - 1.09.865
5. Team 5 (Iconic, GSpotWizard, Ozf1) - 1.11.575
6. Team 4 (Garagiste, Viktor, Earthling) - 1.11.788

Obviously teams 4 and 5 are suffering from having some no-shows but when they post those times will (hopefully ;)) come down.

The spreadsheet so far gives you a dynamically updating drivers championship and constructors championship. It also gives ordered results of each round once you enter each racer's times.

What say we put JohnE on the team that needs him most i.e. the losing team in this round ??

Or is that a bit too much of an advantage for them seeing as only their 3 best drivers will count. I dunno. Just throwing out ideas.

i have no idea about setup.. did a little changes, makes me corner more stable though a bit of understeer..

The Holy Grail - 1:08.940

When i saw the time, i did the Michael Schumacher podium jump and nearly hit the ceiling.

It was the only time i completed the first two sectors in under 42 sec and didnt crack under the pressure in the final sector. I had the ghost switched off which helped.

Sector times were 20.820 (1st) and 41.925 (2nd)

This is catastrophic..........we've had a guest around since friday and she's sleeping in the longe where my setup would be. Needless to say, I haven't had any more time to play and I won't get a chance to improve either!

Well, with all the excitement of a Ferrari victory last night I haven't even had a chance to come in here and sort things out. Suffice it to say that things are definately closed, results will be tabulated over the course of the next 24hrs, but Im sure you can figure out who won what in the meantime if you like.

Congratulations to everyone, it appears we have a close and successful championship on our hands. Remember it is now 1 week until round 2, using the MItsubishi GT3000 .

Round 2 will start on Monday 6 May .

Im affraid that i wont have as much time on my hands this upcomming week due to 3 of the big bosses of the company are comming in from Europe, and 1 of them is my direct boss to say.

Gonna be extremely busy more so than this week(which i never did get to play with my CLK as much as id like to thus having more than a second off to the 1st place man).

I'll just have to live with it.

Congratulations Stickshift. You proved it wasnt a fluke by doing three laps in the high 8's.

I did one other which was 1/100th slower than by best which was very frustating. In a way i was probably lucky i didnt improve because my Internet connection was down all last night and i would have been seriously pissed off if i had done the best time but not been able to post it.

Its been fun.

P.S Have you ever noticed how Michael Schumacher and Stickshift are never in the same place at the same time. I wonder.........?

Sorry mate, i didnt have access to my PC yesterday and then when i finally had a chance to look at the sight my internet connection was down. So i didnt see your request for my setup. It would not have been a problem to give it to you though. We'll share setups next round if you like?
