I am soooo furious that I missed the Schumacher show. About 3 weeks ago I posted a response I got from Charlie Rose's assistant saying they were producing the piece, and then, even though I checked the 60 Minutes website this week, I didn't see it!!! So, has anyone made a tape of the show?? I would dearly, dearly appreciate any help with this. I live in Alexandria, VA. Thanks in advance!

Just got off the phone with 60 Minutes and sadly for those who missed the show it will not be available for sale. According to 60 Minutes they do not own the rights to the segment - which are owned by Michael Schumacher (picking up a business tip no doubt from Bernie himself). Schumacher has not and as it appears will not authorize the sale of the segment.

One big old  on that one!

Man - I can't believe my parents got too see it and I didn't - like they deserved that

Does the CBS website piece track the actual content/text of the story? In other words, is that all there was? It doesn't seem to be too long.

No, the article only included part of the actual piece. The segment was about 15 minutes, and was actually very good. Considering it was a 60 Minutes piece, I didn't expect them to do a very interesting bit on F1, but it was actually very good, and I don't even like MS! :p

MS should have reaaaalllly scared the sh+t out of Charlie during the drive in the Maserati Cambiocorsa.
He was taking it too easy IMO on the Mugello. :(

There's a 60 Minutes II?

I have a copy of the Aus version (I think it's the same as the US one, but with a postscript at the start that mentions the Austria2002 result and the Sportsman of the Year award)

Unfortunately being in Aus, although I can view NTSC tapes, I can only record in PAL format. But if you can arrange it with someone who can convert from PAL to NTSC (and I can find a second VCR to do the recording with) I'd be happy to do it.

PM me if you're interested and can arrange for someone else to convert it to NTSC.
