Personally I find the ten-lap race a lot more challenging than an ordinary hotlap competition. There's a lot more strategy at work here. What I also thought would be to the detriment of the competition, the other cars, are just adding to the challenge. I'm having great fun!

Apparently I've overrevved my engine for too many laps. Losing horsepower. Oil change wont help. I'm down 21hp compared to the original spec. Luckily I have another Cobra in my garage...

Those 21 hp wont make much of a difference. I've tried with a detuned engine, (about 660hp) and the results were quite similar. Better traction, i guess. And it saves your tyres too.

It seems to matter to me. I'm a bit off my original laptimes. Maybe the settings has to be adjusted to asapt to the "new" engine. I can probaly go more agressive on the diff.

this round is awesome!!! I love having to baby this car around the track especially round corners, then just let it rip. Thank god for analogue buttons!!! Anyway, 13:17.073, my first proper time..loads more to go.

I'm having a tough time driving this car. You really have to consentrate! It's sooo easy to loose the tail, and you have to catch the car all the time. By lap 7 I feel exhausted!

Makes me wonder how the F1 guys feel after 40-70 laps in the real world...? :drunk:

Congrats, Moanaman! You obviously found something in the setup. A real breakthrough. Worst thing is that yuou've confused me now but as I'm losing horsepower I might as well go with harder tires and a no-stopper.

Shave off 30 secs off that time??? ... no way. I'm glad to get 15 secs of that time, that would mean not getting lapped and driving 10 near perfect laps.

I'm sorry to see the end of this championship. Hopefully we can start a new one when everyone's rested. Let's just make sure we don't tell Chrissy Boy and OzF1 about it :p

Thanks to everyone. Viktor, JForce : you're the men.

Of course I had to take a final shot : 13:03.390, needed to overtake the panoz and the gt40 during the second half which really slowed me down. A time in the 12:5x is within reach and I have to stop :(

I really hated this car to start with, *#@°§¬ thing sliding all over the place. Now when I get it right it's like it's gliding on an air cushion. I love the fact that you have to dose the accelerator ever so gently. Also managing tire wear has grown on me, I actually enjoy it now! Not that all this pleasure is getting me any closer to a really good time though...

All in all it's been a great final event.

Hmm, this is tough! I've wasted so many races binning it on the fourth lap or so...
Anyway, 9 laps in 12:08.317 fixed by the Viktorometer gives a 13:33.241 :
