------------------------------------------
Remember to consider the whole weekend, not just the race.
------------------------------------------
Step 1 - GP takes place & voting opens
Step 2 - Everybody votes according to these rules:

* You can give a driver either three, two or one point. (Or zero, which is default.)

* You can distribute no more than eight points (but less if you want to).

* You need to vote for at least two drivers.

If I feel you are simply voting for the fav driver each time I'll put you on the blacklist for a while. (I won't be voting myself, to make it fairer) Also not arguing over somebody elses votes or again on the blacklist you go. Posts should be along the lines of:

...3 points: the driver/s you think did the best job during the weekend
...2 points: the next best ones
...1 point: the ones after that

Make it clear which Schumacher brother you mean. Don't use the abbreviation JV, as it can mean both Jacques Villeneuve and Jos Verstappen, and neither one of them is driving right now anyway.

Step 3- Voting will close in about a week

Step 4 - I'll add up the total number of votes. This will produce a 'race result'. Should drivers have the same voting score then I will split them by who has had the most Top Votes. If that fails then in reversed race result order.

Step 5 - The drivers will then be awarded championship points on a 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 system.
---------------------------------------------

------------------------------------------
Rate the race
------------------------------------------
Please rate the race from 0-10, using the following guide.

Quality of race
This should be a reflection of how good the race was, not how much you liked the results. Please don't give it a one or two just because driver X failed to win the championship. Think about how much it had your pulse racing and you guessing at what the end result was going to be. Use the guide below to help, and think carefully. Try to compare it not just to the last few races, but all the grand prix you've ever watched. Votes of 9 and 10 should be quite rare.

10 The best race I've ever seen
9 Contender for the best race of the last few seasons
8 Contender for the best race of the season
7 Brilliant race, I was on the edge of my seat for a lot of the race
6 Better than average, more than a few on the edge the seat moments
5 An average race, nothing spectacular but worth watching
4 Below average, too few exciting moments
3 Well, there was one or two moments of interest
2 That was completely predictable
1 I struggled to watch it all the way through
0 I slept through most of it

Satisfaction with the results
Please also rate the race in terms of how satisfied you are with the results. This one
should be based on if driver X wins the championship or not! Also factors such controversy
over DQ's that sour the event should be considered.

10 All the right results, and done with style
9 All the right results, if not in the best manner
8 Mostly the right results
7 Mostly the right results with a bit of luck
6 Some of drivers/teams I liked did well
5 Neither happy nor sad with the results
4 My likes didn't quite manage to do well
3 My likes did quite badly
2 My likes did quite badly and my dislikes did good
1 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well but I'll give them credit for doing it well
0 All the wrong drivers/teams did very well and the right ones did badly

Note: people who are on the Voting Championship blacklist can still participate in Rate the race.

McLaren is back? I sure hope so, because we need more of this close race on the top positions. Sure, it was mostly caused by the safety car, but still... Let's see:

2 points to The master of strategy on a weekend where the strategy had everything to backfire... and Michael Schumacher still wins. Good defensive moves when needed, great speed when required. Plus... 80 victories. 10 wins out of 11. And he still give us a show. Same number of points, too, for Kimi Raikkonen. After the race, today, we saw what he was feeling: the dry iceman was reborn. A new car, a new motivation. Great saturday, solid sunday, charging schumacher the whole race.

1 point to several drivers: Fisichella, who, like schumacher, is playing each time better with the strategy of the race. Barrichello, great saturday and a sunday charging kimi. He almost overtook the Iceman on that safety car pit stop. A point too to Webber, great pace the whole weekend. And to Button, the new helmet seemed to bring luck, and he is ansewering the Satomania the best possible way

Quality of the race: a good 8, in my opinion, this race and Baahein debut are the highlights of the season so far
Satisfaction: let's say 6. Ah, Massa...

Räikkönen 3
- Absolutely brilliant thru the whole weekend, great to see him back in action. Nice overtaking over Sato

M Schumacher 3
- Flawless, spectacular laps when it mattered. Nothing new thou

Fisichella 2
- Awesome work

All other drivers were more or less just driving around, erratic or boring - nothing to write home about. Nil.
