With the recent staff losses including their star driver, the cancellation of first the tyre test and now the pre season opening test (which would normally be essential for a top team with the new power train and chassis regulations) have we seen the beginning of the end of Lotus in F1 in 2014?

New sponsors would understandably be reluctant to fund last years outstanding bills (not the least of which would seem to be Kimi's salary!) and with rumours of suppliers having had enough of promises that "the cheque is in the post" and wages at the factory delayed before payment it looks like:

No Cash = No outside suppliers = No finished car = No testing = No Lotus in F1 2014

Which would be a great pity if true.

Can anyone expand on this??

If Lotus is in such a precarious position they won't be the only ones will they....whose next?

Marussia, Caterham, Sauber....etc
