After a bit of research I think I may have traced my Yimkin chassis to the 1961 Racing Car show where Yimkin were exhibiting on stand No.28. In the event brochure is this entry after a breakdown of the Yimkin FJs still on offer.
"The frame shown is for an entirely new project details of which are available on the stand or on application."
This would seam to account for at least one extra Yimkin chassis so you never know .. there may be a photo out there that can prove / disprove. The dates certainly fit as my chassis was at Yimkin from 1961.
Does anyone have any photos of the show lurking in the back of a draw they'd be happy to share?
