Hi

With some F1 cars having an extra rear wing, Which I believe now is a single element wing which helps the rearwing by diverting "extra" air  to it.

My question is: For Monaco and Hungary will we see a multielement wing in the same place which creates it´s own downforce, so we have a wing on the sharkfin which goes from being a "pantograph" to being a "Gillette" with really a lot of blades.

If you look at the naca report server you'll find an interesting report by Shorts on multielement flap systems. They stacked anythingup to 7 flaps. The Cl was enormous. Trouble is rear wings usually operate at maximum lift rather than optimum L/D so the traditional aero boys are way confused.

Now Force India has a 3 element one.

It's getting closer to a Gilette!.

Wonder if any would do more elements this weekend in Monaco?.
