Received mine yesterday and put it straight into the DVD player. Very well done!
Only complaint is that the interviews with Doug Garner was louder than the rest
so you had to turn the volume down every time he appeared.

Yes, apologies for that, I thought I had equalised all the audio, I must have missed Doug's pieces.

Doug had a lot of interesting anecdotes and added interesting snippets of information while telling stories.
Like how fiddly the torsion suspension was to set up, and that carbon-fibre structures can end up being too stiff.
Mentioned as an example how carbon-fibre frames on Moto GP bikes proved to make the bike less rider friendly due to lack of flex.
My favourite is how he says that members from different teams used to be very friendly towards each other, pre-Ron Dennis....

We have a special item in the 'extras' where Team truckie Vic McCarthy explains what happened in both the Lotus truck accidents in 1972, the first of which includes his previously un-seen photos of the scene.

Late to the party, but ordered the DVD this week after reading this thread.
Great stuff ! The interviews are a great pleasure to hear - although I was only 'there' as a very young spectator/enthusiast in those years, the interviewees are familiar faces and names ( well, Herbie Blash did buy me a beer once.... ). I also appreciated that the DVD assumes a reasonable degree of knowledge, ie i didn't feel patronised...... The whole production is full of fascinating and historic information - a terrific effort.
And I just love the snapshots of the mechanic on Disc 2, showing off various cars trailered on the back of a transit van to his young family. Wonderful !

Nice quick delivery too...?
Lightning-fast - many thanks !
Going back to the DVD, two highlights for me among the interviews ( and they're all good ) are those with Peter Warr and John Miles ( the latter very precise and wryly self-deprecating ). All in all, essential stuff, not just for Lotus fans but for anyone with a keen interest in 60s/70s F1.

Lads, just to bump the thread, in these unusual times, with all of us having extra time on our hands at home, you could worse than to order the DVD and get stuck into it. It's here www.lotus72dvd.com
Plus here's a link to just one of the 'extras' on disc 2, Beaky Sims and Bob Dance explain how they both acquired their nicknames at Team Lotus in the 1960's;
Indirectly, this interview led me, 5 years later, to start my series of podcasts with those sort of guys; https://mechanicsgallon.blogspot.com/

Without wishing to hi-jack Gary's thread, but having been reading 'Black & Gold' I ordered the DVD of John Player's docu of the 1973 season, 'If You're Not Winning - You're Not Trying'. I wasn't expecting much, but it's surprisingly good , and after watching the Lotus 72 DVD, it's really fascinating to see many of the key Lotus personalities in action and being interviewed - particularly of course Colin Chapman and Ronnie Peterson. Quality of photography and sound also impressive.
All in all it makes a superb 'Appendix' to Gary's DVD and both make an excellent way of passing some 'locked-down' time......

Talking of 'If You're Winning...' I remember I bought a VHS copy of it from Chaters when they were still in Isleworth, that must be at least 25 years ago. One of my very early video ideas was to re-issue that with some new 'extras' to go on the end of it, I guess that morphed finally into my 72 documentary proper.
