I reckon that’s all very plausible. Sainz-Leclerc could go either way I think, Sainz is going in slightly underestimated. Sadly, who even knows whether they’ll be battling for victories or for seventh place, such are Ferrari.

Not that I think it will happen, but if I had to make an out there prediction that I think is plausible I would go for Stroll to beat Vettel.

That would have been bold a year ago but this year not really considering they finished 6th in 2020.

1] Hamilton to retire after 2021 season.
2] Mclaren scoring a win in 2021.
3] Sainz outscoring Leclerc.
Now that's bold. But I can see it happening.
My bold claims:
1) Verstappen to be champion
2) Alonso will not make the podium in 2021
3) Raikkonen will retire mid season
#18

1. Williams will be in Q3 at least once
2. Racing Point will beat Ferrari in WCC
3. Stroll will score more podiums than Perez
4. Ferrari will not win a race
5. A team will not start in a race (double DNS for whatever reason, technical problems, illegal car, a protest against FIA, coronavirus-related problems, etc.). The race has to take place, of course.
6. There will be a race with 3 Mercedes-powered cars on the podium
7. Stroll will win a race or take a pole position
4 out of 7.. can you do better in 2021?

Bottas wins the title after Hamilton hits some bad luck, sparking a conspiracy that it was an arranged gift from Mercedes for his loyal service
Aston Martin down to P6 in WCC with no podiums
Stroll more or less matching Vettel but both inconsistent, making proper comparison difficult
Williams beats Haas to P9 in WCC
Ferrari third best and we're back to dominant top 3 teams who will sweep nearly all the podiums of the season...
...with only two for others - Ricciardo and Alonso
Tsunoda matching Gasly by mid-season

2. Vettel will get his mojo back and dish out a demolition job of poor old Lance Stroll.
3. Sainz’s performances will take a little bit of the shine off Leclerc.
4. McLaren Mercedes will emerge as a genuine threat at the front on occasion and Ricciardo will beat Norris comfortably.
5. Ocon will outperform Alonso
6. Russell still won’t bring home points but will still be ranked in Autosport’s top ten at the end of the season.
7. Mick Schumacher will really struggle with a lack of raw pace
8. A new threat will emerge from nowhere to steal the crown of F1’s smuggest git from Christian Horner.

I don’t believe for a second that Sainz will beat or even match Leclerc. Don’t really understand what it’s based on really either. Sure, he’s been consistent at McLaren, but it’s clearly visible that Leclerc has the better talent and outright pace. Also, he knows the team better and the car as well. Sainz only has 1,5 day in the car to get to know it. It could even become a Raikkonen 2014 esque season for Sainz. Difficult car to drive, high expectations for the new driver at the team.
Sainz is one of the most professional drivers I watched. In the second half of the season he will be there.
